“ The best Indian/Bangladeshi food we've had in a long time and overall our new favourite for the North East. Hats off to this place. Tried about 5 different dishes. Really good quality food, decent serving sizes, truly great service, friendly attentive staff with a super professional manner and priced just right, maybe the lighting was a little bright but it's easy to pick at things in any establishment that could be different regarding decor etc, it's personal preference. Worth a visit if it's new on your radar. ”
“ Absolutely stunning food which has become our benchmark for all other comparisons. Honestly, feels Michelin star. Quality is superb and the flavours are exceptional. Would highly recommend for dining in and don't let the lower star reviews who are complaining about delivery times, put you off experiencing this fabulous Indian restaurant in person. We'll be back! ”
“ I had just arrived in town and didn't expect much but my goodness the food was amazing and the staff were great as well! Highly recommended! ”
“ Popped in on a Thursday night, staff were all very friendly and efficient, service great. Portions were huge and food well presented & tasty. King prawn puri was delicious, as was the tandoori sea bass which was served with rice and a lovely sauce. The hulk kebab was definitely aptly named! ”
“ Discovered the Sher-E-Bangla in Montrose yesterday - absolutely B A N G I N G - as well as the "mock meat" options they have lots of veggie side dishes (if mock meat isn't your thing), forgot to take pics of our starters - poppadoms, onion chutney (very moreish) and onion bhaji with 3 sauces. The mock meat was cubed, "chicken"-style, soya-based stuff, nice texture and flavour. 10/10 would recommend, absolutely over the moon to have discovered this. ”
“ A bit of a wait but well worth it Great food , good amounts Great staff ”
“ I’m from Glasgow and have been coming to Montrose every so often for a long time, never do I leave without eating here tho! First time trying since the name change and still as good as ever. Might need to take another trip up again soon delicious ... ”
“ Group of nine dining-in for a birthday tea on a Monday. Super service, super food and a fair priced tea time set menu with starter, main and dessert. 7 adults and two children. Lovely starters. Good choice for children as well (the usual pizza/ nuggets but also offer same choices as the adult menu) ”
